Abbe Grace is the Marketing Coordinator and Sales Assistant at Street Media Group. Abbe collaborates closely with the marketing and sales team to enhance brand recognition and address customer inquiries and advertising needs. She deals with a variety of departments daily including content marketing, social media, monitoring and maintaining digital inventory, and various sales activities.
Born and raised in Northern Colorado, Abbe graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Outside of work, she enjoys being outside on the lake, in the mountains, or playing golf, pickleball, or sand volleyball.
Ashley Steinbach is the General Manager at Street Media Group, responsible for developing company and departmental strategies aligned with the mission, vision, and key initiatives of the organization. This includes crafting the top-level company strategy and growth initiatives, as well as assisting individual departments in defining and executing their goals. In her role, Ashley identifies opportunities for growth, process refinement, company organization, and operational efficiency improvements.
Ashley has held numerous leadership roles, including Director of Strategic Development and Director of Product Management at Snaptron and Environmental Product Manager at In-Situ Environmental. With a focus in strategic development, Ashley has dedicated the majority of her career delivering transformative growth through visionary leadership and strategic insight. With a passion for identifying emerging opportunities and translating insights into actionable strategies, she is committed to guiding organizations toward innovation, market leadership, operational excellence, and enhanced profitability.
A long-time resident of Northern Colorado, Ashley received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Northern Colorado. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband of 17 years, her two children, two dogs, Charlie and Chico, and their leopard gecko, Wally. She loves boating, camping, water sports, football games, and spending time on patios with friends.
Growing up in Fort Collins, CO, Aubrey was born into the out-of-home (OOH) advertising industry. Some of her earliest memories include making bus benches with her dad in the garage for American Bench. This early exposure laid the foundation for her future career in the industry.
Aubrey pursued a degree in psychology in college but eventually gravitated back to her roots in the OOH industry. She built and ran the family business, Edgewater Pavilion, a wedding and event venue in northern Colorado. Her experience there revealed a gap in the wedding industry for effective advertising, leading her to create Paper Moon Weddings, a bridal magazine and wedding blog.
After some time with Paper Moon Weddings, Aubrey joined the rapidly growing Street Media Group 12 years ago as their first Account Executive. She brought with her 16 years of OOH experience, accumulated between SMG and Outdoor Promotions. Her expertise and dedication have allowed her to work predominantly with national accounts and ad agencies, successfully acquiring and managing top national brands and agencies.
Now serving as a Senior Advisor at SMG, Aubrey works closely with management and ownership in business development and strategy. She is known for her passion for people and creativity, always thinking outside the box and focusing on the big picture.
At home, Aubrey enjoys a bustling life with her husband, their four kids, and two dogs. She loves hosting and entertaining friends and family, camping, going on beach vacations, playing pickleball and golf, and watching her kids play sports. Additionally, she has a keen interest in interior design, often dreaming up her next project, and enjoys Pinterest and red wine.
Audrey LaBrecque is an accomplished Account Executive for Street Media Group with over 13 years of experience in the out-of-home advertising industry, primarily focused on the Colorado market working with local and national advertising agencies. With a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design and Printing Technology, Audrey brings a creative and technical edge to her work, delivering effective and compelling advertising solutions to her clients.
Outside of her professional life, Audrey has a wide range of interests. She is an avid follower of all things SpaceX, enjoys going on cruises, and is passionate about Premier League Soccer, often engaging in Fantasy Premier League (FPL). A dedicated fan of the band Hanson, Audrey has watched them perform over 300 times. She also shares her life with her husband and a beloved Boston Terrier named Alfie.
Brad Williamson is a Business Development Executive with over 15 years of experience in Sales and Real Estate transactions. He has a proven track record of success in selling products and services to businesses of all sizes domestically and internationally.
Brad has a BA from the University of North Dakota where he played Division 1 hockey for the Fighting Sioux. He was a 3 time WCHA champion, WCHA most valuable defenseman, 1st Team All American and 1997 NCAA National Champion. After college he played 10 years professionally across the USA and in Germany and settled in Windsor, Colorado with his wife and 4 kids.
Gary began his career in the outdoor advertising business in 1982, focusing on municipal contracts in Indiana to provide transit amenities. Two years later he expanded to Colorado, leasing and constructing billboards throughout northern Colorado. During that time, Gary also developed a bus stop shelter operation throughout the Denver metro area. Serving as CEO of his former business, Gary led a team of over sixty employees and managed operations of over 2,000 bus shelters across more than fifty cities in four states. He’s developed custom projects that include bus stop shelters with digital advertising along the Las Vegas Strip and custom interactive kiosks in downtown Denver. More recently, Gary has been busy leasing sites and building over twenty digital billboard faces throughout the Front Range of Colorado and the Lincoln/Omaha area of Nebraska. His extensive experience developing and operating outdoor inventory across multiple states make Gary uniquely qualified to lead the Street Media Group team.
Matt Wells has been an integral part of the out-of-home (OOH) advertising industry since 1998, bringing twenty-six years of experience to various roles. He began his career as an installer for three years, followed by eight years as an Operations Manager. This foundation led to a thirteen year tenure as an Account Executive, and for the past two years, Matt has excelled as a Street Media Group’s Sales Manager. Throughout his career, Matt has been instrumental in helping three OOH companies grow their revenues consistently, showcasing his expertise and dedication to the field.
Matt has been happily married for twenty-two years and is a proud parent of two children. They enjoy staying busy and have a wide range of interests, including golfing, fishing, skiing, cooking, and gardening. Family and the outdoors are central to Matt's life, reflecting a love for people and nature.
Michelle Hanson has been a Business Manager with Street Media Group since 2013, bringing over 36 years of professional experience to the role. With a diverse background in financial analysis, logistics management, and enterprise systems implementation, Michelle has developed a broad skill set that is invaluable in the out-of-home (OOH) advertising industry, where she has spent the last 18 years.
Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an MBA, which have provided a strong foundation for her extensive career. Throughout their professional journey, Michelle has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
Beyond professional achievements, Michelle is deeply family-centric and considers her adult children her greatest accomplishment. In her free time, Michelle enjoys reading, volunteering with the Interscholastic Equestrian Association, and spending quality time with family.
Nick Willey started with Street Media Group in 2023 as an Account Executive covering all of Colorado and parts of Nebraska. He brings over 25+ years of experience in the OOH Media Industry to SMG, with the majority of that time spent in Indianapolis, IN as a Sales Manager with Lamar Outdoor Advertising.
Before getting into the OOH Media Industry, Nick spent 10 years in Minor League Sports with stops in Des Moines, IA with the Iowa Cubs Baseball Team, Quad City Riverbandits Baseball Team, and the Quad City Steamwheelers Arena Football Team.
Nick is a native of Maquoketa, Iowa, where he graduated and participated in 5 sports during his career at Maquoketa High School. Graduate of Iowa State University, with a B.S. in Sports Management.
An avid sports fan, with his favorite teams being the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Team and Iowa State University Cyclones (all sports).
Nick enjoys playing golf, attending sporting events, and weekend trips to the Mountains out here in the Rocky Mountains.
Rafael Gonzalez is the Operations Manager at Street Media Group, where he oversees all SMG operations, builds new structures, maintains and repairs all inventory, and manages the operations team. With over 15 years of experience in the Out of Home industry, Rafael has held numerous leadership roles including Transit Manager and Warranty Manager. Rafael has a diverse background that includes construction, handyman work, forklift operation, billboard refacing, billboard construction, and transit maintenance, where he handled tasks such as sandblasting buses and shelters, making repairs, and maintaining overall cleanliness.
Known around the office as "MacGyver," Rafael is incredibly hard-working, reliable, intuitive, detail-oriented, and creative. There is no problem he can’t solve, often coming up with “out of the box” solutions. He is driven to continue learning and thrives on inventing creative solutions to challenging problems. Outside of work, Rafael enjoys hiking near rivers, camping, and spending time with his wife of 24 years and their four children.
Sam Robertson has over 18 years of experience in advertising sales, including 14 years in the OOH Industry, all of it in Colorado. Currently serving as an Account Executive at Street Media Group (since October 2022), Sam is responsible for generating sales across the company's portfolio, with a primary focus on local accounts.
Sam's career in advertising began in the cable sports television industry, which led to a move to Colorado in 1999. Over the past decade, Sam has developed a deep expertise in the industry, helping clients navigate their advertising needs effectively.
In his current role, Sam finds great satisfaction in assisting clients and sharing in their excitement as their campaigns take root and come to life. Many of these clients are first-time users of outdoor advertising, making the experience particularly rewarding.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending quality time with family, whether it’s hiking, watching movies, or enjoying sports on television.
Scot McArtor is responsible for Business Development at Street Media Group, where he oversees operations to ensure new business transactions and opportunities are executed successfully, efficiently, and profitably. With over 25 years of experience in the Out of Home (OOH) industry, Scot brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his roles.
In his extensive career, Scot has held several significant positions in the out-of-home industry including General Manager at Adams Outdoor Advertising, Vice President of Sales at Clear Channel Outdoor, President and VP of Development at Signal Campus, and COO/ EVP at NextMedia Outdoor, among others.
In his spare time, Scot enjoys spending time with his family, hiking fishing, biking, and traveling.
Steph Gehrke is a versatile and detail-oriented Graphic Designer at Street Media Group, bringing 11 years of experience in Advertising, Marketing, OOH, and Product Development. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Illustration, Steph combines technical expertise with her passion for illustration to create compelling and impactful designs.
In addition to her design work, Steph has experience teaching at an art studio, where she enjoyed sharing her love of art with children. Steph has a passion for watercolor painting and baking desserts. Whether she is experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen or delicately painting landscapes, Steph's love for the creative process shines through.
Outside of work, Steph loves being in nature, whether hiking, gardening, or camping. She cherishes spending time with her husband, son, and two cats, Sammy and Felix.
Troy brings over 25 years of media expertise to the Street Media Group management team. He has vast experience in the Out-of-Home industry, having served as president of NextMedia Outdoor, one of the ten largest outdoor advertising firms in the United States prior to their successful divestiture to Lamar Outdoor Advertising in 2012. During his time at NextMedia, Troy managed five divisions with assets in nine states, utilizing over 6,000 displays. Additionally, he spearheaded the growth of the company’s digital footprint, growing inventory from five displays to more than sixty in a two-year time frame. Prior to serving as company president, Troy was a successful General Market Manager, twice recognized as a Division of the Year award winner.
More recently, Troy has worked alongside Gary Young as part owner of Street Media Group. They have served various municipalities, providing complete transit advertising programs in numerous markets. Achievements with Street Media Group include launching one of the first large scale interactive kiosk programs in the country. These displays located in the heart of downtown Denver, create a platform for the city to communicate with locals and tourists alike, sharing information about events, transportation, shopping destinations, and more. These state-of-the-art devices also serve the city by providing pedestrian counts, Wi-Fi, emergency messaging, and survey information, all at no cost. In fact, these programs offer municipalities a revenue stream in addition to the many services provided by the displays.
Wally began his career with Street Media Group in 2014 as Lead Graphic Designer and has advanced to his current role of Marketing Manager. With a bachelor's degree in commercial art and over 17 years of professional design experience in the out-of-home industry, his work has been featured in publications such as the Obie Awards and OOH Today. Wally’s design portfolio also includes print and web media, brand development, illustration, animation, photography, and videography.
A family of four and a couple of dogs keep Wally on the go. He takes every opportunity to experience his kids growing, and occasionally finds time to cast a fly rod or swing a golf club. Known throughout the office for his razor-sharp wit and striking features, Wally enjoys defending his title of SMG Ping Pong Champion against wishful opponents named Brad and Matt.
Joining the Street Media Group team in 2022, Winnie plays a vital role in office security and merriment. Winnie's keen sense of awareness consistently protects her unsuspecting colleagues from the surprise of approaching visitors. First to greet everyone at the front door with a smile (and perhaps a slight growl), Winnie has a special talent of evoking smiles, pets, and higher pitched tones of "who's a good dog" from adults and children alike. She proudly touts an impressive portfolio of captured bunnies, toads, and other small animals.
In her down time, Winnie enjoys spending time in the backyard, observing squirrels and snacking on moths, with her four pet humans, Matt, Stephanie, Wes, and Phoebe.
